Delta faced Nenana in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Huskies were the clear victors by a 7-2 margin over the Lynx. Considering Delta have won seven contests by more than two goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Nenana from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Judah Augustin led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Delta's win bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Nenana, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Delta will take on rival Holy Rosary Academy at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Nenana is set to square off against their familiar foe Birchwood Christian at 6:00 p.m. on the 19th.
