Basketball Recap: Hagerman Now 10-2 over Last 12 Games

Hagerman extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Felix Chacon. The Hagerman Bobcats secured a 54-48 W over the Jal Panthers on Monday thanks in part to Chacon, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds. He has been hot, having posted eight or more boards the last seven times he's played.

The team also got some help courtesy of Aiden Dunnahoo, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in boards.

Hagerman is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.3 points per game. As for Jal, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hagerman is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 61 points per game this season. As for Jal, they will face off against Tatum at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Jal is facing Tatum at the right time seeing as Tatum is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
