Volleyball Recap: Wooster Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Wooster came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Churchill County Greenwave. The loss continues a trend for the Colts in their meetings with the Greenwave: they've now lost four in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-13, 25-14.

Leading Churchill County to victory were Layla Walker and Destinee Tapia. Walker had 20 assists and five digs, while Tapia had six digs and four aces. That's the most digs Tapia has posted over her last five matches. Audrey Fruzza also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Wooster's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Churchill County, their record now sits at 7-1.

Wooster didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-2 win against Lowry on the 30th. As for Churchill County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Rocky Mountain on the 29th.
