Lago Vista had already won 11 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it 12 on Monday. They never let the Travis Rebels get on the board and left with a 21-0 win. Give the Vikings' pitching crew some credit: that's the team's fourth straight shutout.

Winter Callahan made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in 12 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

In other batting news, Sydney Mosser was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, four stolen bases, and five RBI. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high. Ellie Helton was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with five RBI, three runs, and one triple.

Lago Vista was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .455. They are 10-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Lago Vista pushed their record up to 14-9 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 19.4 runs over those games. As for Travis, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Coming up, Lago Vista will be playing at home against Manor New Tech at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lago Vista will need to watch out since Manor New Tech has now posted at least ten runs in their last four matchups. Travis does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
