Football Recap: Ben Bolt Takes a Loss

Ben Bolt's last matchup with La Villa could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Friday. The Badgers had to suffer through a 62-6 loss at the hands of the Cardinals. The Badgers haven't had much luck with the Cardinals recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Isaiah Felix continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for La Villa, rushing for 76 yards on only nine carries, while also throwing for 73 yards and one TD. Sean Seanz made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.

Ben Bolt now has a losing record of 3-4. As for La Villa, they pushed their record up to 7-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Ben Bolt and La Villa will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Badgers see the field they'll take on Agua Dulce at 7:00 p.m. on the 31st. As for La Villa, their break will end when they face Mercedes at 7:00 p.m. on the 30th.
