Summit came tearing into Tuesday's contest with six straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Grand Terrace Titans. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the SkyHawks have posted since August 21st.

Summit wouldn't go down easily and took Grand Terrace into a fifth set where they got it done with a eight-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-15, 25-19, 24-26, 15-7.

Summit found their leader in sophomore Hannah Reyes, who had 27 digs and two aces.

Summit was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 18 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in seven consecutive matches.

Summit's record is now 19-4. As for Grand Terrace, their loss ended a four-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-7.

Summit wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Eisenhower on the 3rd. As for Grand Terrace, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Kaiser on the 2nd.
