Soccer Game Preview: West Branch vs. Woodridge

The West Branch Warriors will take on the Woodridge Bulldogs in a tournament on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.

Last Wednesday, West Branch earned a 4-2 win over Dover. The final result isn't all that surprising considering West Branch's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 45th, while Dover are ranked 224th).

West Branch hit Dover with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Ellie Tucker (2), Allie Brammer, and Elli Colian.

Meanwhile, Woodridge kept a clean sheet against Manchester on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 2-0. Two seems to be a good number for Woodridge as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of goals in their previous game.

Woodridge's win bumped their record up to 9-7-1. As for West Branch, their victory bumped their record up to 14-0-2.

West Branch took their win against Woodridge in their previous matchup back in September of 2018 by a conclusive 4-0 score. Do the Warriors have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bulldogs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
