Recap: Sunset Bison vs. Wilson Wildcats
The Sunset Bison lost against the Wilson Wildcats back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Sunset was outmatched by Wilson at home and fell 96-29. Sunset has struggled against Wilson recently, as their match on Thursday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Leading Wilson to victory were Cyruss Evans and Jackson Townsend. Evans scored 12 points, while Townsend scored 18 points. Those 18 points set a new season-high mark for him. Sam Mcmahon was another key contributor, scoring six points.
Sunset has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season. As for Wilson, they pushed their record up to 8-8 with that win, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Sunset and Dallas Lutheran will round out the year against one another at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday at. As for Wilson, they will square off against Panther Creek at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Panther Creek focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 on Tuesday.
