Basketball Recap: St. Francis Victorious

St. Francis posted their closest win since January 19th on Saturday. They skirted past the Westlake Warriors 71-69.

St. Francis has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.6 points per game. As for Westlake, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-6.

St. Francis will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Loyola at 7:00 p.m. on January 8, 2025. Westlake will also get a bit of a break before their next matchup: they'll face off against Calabasas at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
