Basketball Recap: Fairview Comes Up Short

Fairview lost against St. Edward back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Warriors fell 78-68 to the Eagles. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Tuesday (65), the Warriors still had to take the loss.

Fairview's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for St. Edward, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fairview will venture away from home to face off against Independence at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The contest will give the Warriors their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for St. Edward, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Walsh Jesuit at 7:00 p.m. on the 16th.
