Sunset took an 11-run defeat the last time they faced off against White, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Bison sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-4 win over the Longhorns on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Bison sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Miguel Araujo spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned (and two unearned) runs on nine hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Aaron Chavez was excellent, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Anthony Benavidez, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Sunset's victory bumped their record up to 20-6-1. As for White, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-14.

Sunset will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Longhorns: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
