Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ponca). They blew past the Tri County Northeast Wolfpack, posting a 63-30 victory. The Indians haven't had any issues with the Wolfpack recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Despite the defeat, Tri County Northeast saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Briley Anderson went 6-for-9 on her way to 17 points. What's more, Anderson also posted two blocks, the most she's had since back in December of 2024.

Ponca's victory bumped their record up to 11-12. As for Tri County Northeast, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 6-16 record this season.

Ponca wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 45-43 loss against Homer on the 18th. Tri County Northeast does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
