Volleyball Game Preview: Barnstable Red Hawks vs. Westborough Rangers

The Barnstable Red Hawks will head out on the road to face off against the Westborough Rangers at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Barnstable will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Barnstable barely beat Notre Dame Academy the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Red Hawks blew past the Cougars 3-0 on Thursday.

Barnstable's got stronger as the match went on, holding Notre Dame Academy to fewer and fewer points set over set. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-12, 25-10.

Meanwhile, Westborough got the win against Milton on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0. The Rangers haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

While Westborough won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-23, 25-20.

Westborough's victory bumped their record up to 11-2-1. As for Barnstable, their win bumped their record up to 10-7.
