It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Harvard-Westlake had no problem doing just that on Friday. They beat the Jurupa Hills Spartans by a goal, winning 1-0. Winning may never get old, but the Wolverines sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Sam Reiner, which was the first he's scored this season.

Harvard-Westlake's victory bumped their record up to 14-5-2. As for Jurupa Hills, they moved to 17-7-4 with that defeat, which also ended their six-game winning streak.

Harvard-Westlake didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 6-2 win against Porterville on the 4th. As for Jurupa Hills, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Anaheim on the 4th.
