Basketball Recap: Wadley Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Wadley can now relate to. They received a blow on Friday as they fell 60-41 to the Appalachian Eagles. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Wadley still got an impressive performance from A'Mya Brown, who posted 22 points in addition to five rebounds and four steals. Another player making a difference was Bentley Mulkey, who scored seven points and 11 boards.

Wadley's defeat dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Appalachian, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record this season.

As of now, neither Wadley nor Appalachian have any future games scheduled.
