Washington has gone a perfect 10-0 against Ayden - Grifton recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Pam Pack will be playing in front of their home fans against the Chargers at 6:00 p.m. Washington is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.2 runs per game this season.
Last Monday, Washington beat Camden County 8-3.
Emma Orr was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out 11 over seven innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Honor Edwards was incredible, going 1-for-4 with one home run and five RBI. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high. Addison Miller was another key player, going 2-for-5 with two runs and one RBI.
Washington kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Ayden - Grifton came into Monday's match having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. Everything went their way against Fike on Monday as they made off with an 11-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Chargers, who have now won seven games by ten runs or more so far this season.
Like Washington, Ayden - Grifton also got a great game from a two-way player: Leah Fields. She tossed five innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits. Fields was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Aaliyah Williams, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with five stolen bases and one run. Another player making a difference was Chloe Williams, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and two runs.
Washington is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.8 runs over those games. As for Ayden - Grifton, their win bumped their record up to 9-12.
Ayden - Grifton's pitching crew better be locked in on Tuesday. Washington hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.4 home runs per game. It's a different story for Ayden - Grifton, though, as they've been averaging only 0 home runs. Will they be able to keep Washington in the park?
