Basketball Recap: Rye Cove Takes a Loss

Rye Cove lost against Holston two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Rye Cove Eagles took a 45-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Holston Cavaliers.

Rye Cove's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Holston, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rye Cove will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Thomas Walker at 7:30 p.m. on February 14th. As for Holston, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Council at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
