Basketball Recap: Simpson Comes Up Short

Simpson was the 44-41 winner over Evans when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Simpson Broncos took a 49-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Evans Eagles. The Broncos have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Simpson's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Evans, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-14.

Simpson will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Negreet at 5:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Evans has already played their next contest, an 82-25 loss against Rosepine on the 19th.
