Washington skates past North Forest with ease

The Washington Eagles stacked a 14th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Monday. They took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 60-20 victory over North Forest. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Washington has posted since December 29, 2023.

Danaya Pope was her usual excellent self, scoring 34 points. That makes it six consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Washington's points. Another player making a difference was Kendyl Harvey, who scored 11 points.

Washington is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-8 record this season. As for North Forest, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.

Washington on the road again on Friday and play against Furr at 7:30 p.m. on January 26th. Furr is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for North Forest, they will take on Scarborough at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
