Volleyball Recap: Altoona-Midway Comes Up Short

Altoona-Midway was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 23rd straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Northeast Vikings. The Jets were not able to make up for their defeat to the Vikings from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Altoona-Midway was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring zero points in every single set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-0, 25-0.

Altoona-Midway's loss dropped their record down to 0-22. As for Northeast, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-10-1.

Altoona-Midway wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against St. Paul on the 14th. Northeast has also already played their next matchup (against Marmaton Valley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
