Basketball Recap: Cedar Takes a Loss

Cedar was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 68-29 loss at the hands of the Desert Hills Thunder. The matchup marked the Reds' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Hayden Kee was Cedar's leading scorer, having posted ten points. Kee also led the team in rebounds with four.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Desert Hills to victory, but perhaps none more so than Mason Rasmussen, who went 5 of 6 on his way to 13 points and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Chaz Holbrook, who posted 13 points.

Cedar's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Desert Hills, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-4.

Cedar didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 60-46 loss against Crimson Cliffs on the 20th. As for Desert Hills, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 64-48 win against Hurricane on the 20th.
