Baseball Recap: Polytechnic Comes Up Short

Polytechnic was the 10-0 winner over Firebaugh when they last played one another back in May of 2018, but their luck changed this time around. The Panthers lost 19-0 to the Falcons on Monday. The game marked the first time this year in which the Panthers were not able to get on the board.

Polytechnic is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4. As for Firebaugh, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Coming up, Polytechnic is taking a road trip to take on Jordan at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Firebaugh, they will be playing at home against Lynwood at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. The contest will give the Falcons their first taste of in-conference action this season.
