Basketball Recap: Stadium Tigers vs. Kentridge Chargers

Stadium was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss. They were dealt a 68-30 defeat at the hands of the Kentridge Chargers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 70-26 back in December of 2024.

Stadium's loss came despite strong showings from Laila Nyman and Cecilia Tatlonghari. Nyman posted eight points, while Tatlonghari put up six points.

Kentridge's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jayla Keowla led the charge by going 5 for 12 en route to 13 points in addition to seven boards and six steals. Keowla is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for three straight games. Raelyn Ofrancia was another key player, going 6 of 11 on her way to 20 points.

Stadium's loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Kentridge, the win got them back to even at 8-8.

Stadium has already played their next match (against Kentwood), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Kentridge will challenge Auburn at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Kentridge is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.9 points per game this season.
