Softball Recap: River Valley Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Kingsley-Pierson, River Valley was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top against the Storm Lake St. Mary Panthers by a score of 13-8. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Wolverines considering their two-run performance the match before.

River Valley's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Storm Lake St. Mary, their loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-2.

River Valley didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 5-4 defeat against Ridge View on the 6th. As for Storm Lake St. Mary, they have also already played their next contest, a 6-2 victory against Emmetsburg on the 6th.
