 Bath waltzed into their match  on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They narrowly escaped with a  victory as the  squad sidled past the Minster Wildcats  4-2. For Bath, this counts as revenge for the   6-5 loss Minster walked away with the last time they faced one another  back in May of 2023.
  Clay Boedicker spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered two  runs (both of which were unearned)  on six hits and racked up six Ks.
 At the plate,  Joel Rasor was  excellent,  scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while going 1-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of  Quintin Collins, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while  getting on base  in all three of his plate appearances.
 Bath pushed their record up to 10-11 with that  win, which was their third straight  at home. As for Minster, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-4.
 Bath will stay at home for another  game and welcome Miller City at 10:00  a.m.  on Saturday. Miller City's pitching crew has only allowed 3.8  runs per game  this season, so Bath's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Minster, they will be playing at home against Celina at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
