Basketball Recap: American Heritage Academy Comes Up Short

American Heritage Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were dealt a 43-10 loss at the hands of Thunderbird Adventist Academy.

Katy Bayer was nothing short of spectacular for Thunderbird Adventist Academy: she posted 23 points and five steals. Bayer is becoming a predictor of Thunderbird Adventist Academy's success: when she posts at least five steals the team is 2-1 (and 0-11 when she doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Amanda Luca, who scored eight points and six boards.

American Heritage Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Thunderbird Adventist Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-12.

As of now, neither American Heritage Academy nor Thunderbird Adventist Academy have any future games scheduled.
