Basketball Game Preview: Orem Tigers vs. Kearns Cougars

Having just played yesterday, the Orem Tigers will head out on the road to face off against the Kearns Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Orem is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.

On Thursday, Orem took a blow against Clearfield, falling 51-12. The game marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Kearns was just a bucket shy of victory on Tuesday and fell 1-0 to American Fork. The Cougars have struggled against the Cavemen recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Kearns' loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Orem, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-8.

Orem strolled past Kearns in their previous matchup back in December of 2024 by a score of 44-25. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
