Northmor and East Knox are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2017, but likely not for long. The Golden Knights will look to defend their home field on Monday against the Bulldogs at 5:15 p.m. Northmor is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.9 runs per game this season.

On Saturday, Northmor made easy work of South Central and carried off a 14-4 win. The Golden Knights haven't had any issues with the Trojans recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

The team relied heavily on Reagan See, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, two doubles, and one stolen base. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Katalina Roseberry, who scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

Northmor always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .613. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as South Central only posted an OBP of .381.

Meanwhile, East Knox was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 17-9 to Loudonville.

East Knox's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Northmor, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Northmor suffered a grim 13-3 defeat to East Knox when the teams last played back in April of 2023. Can the Golden Knights avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
