The stars were shining brightly for Perkiomen Valley in a 64-49 victory over Boyertown. That 64-49 margin sets a new team best for Perkiomen Valley this season.
Several Bears players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Trey Kern, who scored 13 points. The contest was Kern's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Braedyn Johnson, who scored 13 points along with five steals.
Perkiomen Valley has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. As for Boyertown, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 5-2.
Perkiomen Valley will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Upper Perkiomen at 6:45 p.m. on December 21st. Upper Perkiomen is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak. Boyertown will be home for the holidays to greet Upper Merion Area at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. Upper Merion Area will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 532nd, while Boyertown is ranked 120th).
