Jefferson-Morgan extended their winning streak to six on Friday, bumping them up to 6-0. They blew past the West Greene Pioneers, posting a 40-6 win. The Rockets' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

Deakyn Dehoet produced another solid performance picking up 150 receiving yards and two touchdowns, while also rushing for 63 yards and one TD. Another player making a difference was Triton Farabee, who threw for 150 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only six passes.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Jefferson-Morgan was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 237 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 199 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.

As for West Greene, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. Having soared to a lofty 40 points in the game before, they couldn't push the score so high this time.

Despite the loss, West Greene saw an underclassman step up: freshman Joel Rizor rushed for 90 yards, and also threw for 53 yards and one TD.
