After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last three matchups, Newman Central Catholic finally came back down to earth on Friday. They came up short against the Rockridge Rockets, falling 26-6. The game marked the Comets' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Newman Central Catholic fell to 4-1. As for Rockridge, their win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0.
