Baseball Preview: Clearfield Bison vs. Central Dragons
The Clearfield Bison will square off against the Central Dragons at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
Clearfield is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 15 runs on Tuesday, they were much more limited against St. Marys on Wednesday. They took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Flying Dutch.
Clearfield saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Braison Patrick, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. That stolen base marked the first that Patrick has snagged this season. Another was Matt Irvin, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one run.
