Volleyball Game Preview: Murtaugh Red Devils vs. Shoshone Indians

Murtaugh has gone 9-1 against Shoshone recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Red Devils will head out to face off against the Indians at 7:00 p.m. Shoshone took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Murtaugh, who comes in off a win.

On Tuesday, Murtaugh made easy work of Sun Valley Community and carried off a 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Red Devils.

Murtaugh was especially dominant in the first set. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-18, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Shoshone came up short against Glenns Ferry on Tuesday and fell 3-1. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Shoshone couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Glenns Ferry a tough time in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 30-28, 26-24, 21-25, 25-21.

Murtaugh's victory bumped their record up to 14-7. As for Shoshone, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-8.

Everything went Murtaugh's way against Shoshone in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as Murtaugh made off with a 3-0 win. Do the Red Devils have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Indians turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
