Football Recap: Eldorado Takes a Loss

Eldorado lost against Flora back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Eagles took a 28-22 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wolves.

Defeat or not, Eldorado got some senior leadership from Kaiden Henson and Maddex Rash. Henson rushed for 109 yards and three touchdowns, while Rash rushed for 114 yards on only 14 carries. Those 114 rushing yards set a new season-high mark for Rash.

Eldorado has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season. As for Flora, they pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, Eldorado will challenge Red Hill at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Flora, they will be playing at home against Fairfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wolves will be up against the Mules' rather soft defense (which has allowed 25.5 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
