            Basketball Recap: Gibbs Eagles vs. Halls Red Devils        
        
		
        
        
            Gibbs lost against Halls back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Friday. The Gibbs Eagles took  a  73-64 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Halls Red Devils. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game  last Tuesday (55), the Eagles still had to take the loss.
 Despite the loss, Gibbs still got an impressive performance from   Zack Turner, who  went 10-for-20  to rack up 29  points along with five  assists and three  steals. That was a full 45.3% of Gibbs' points, marking the fourth time in a row  Turner has  posted  more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Chase Norman, who  dropped  a double-double with 12 points and 15  boards.
Gibbs' loss was  their third straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 12-16. As for Halls, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won four of their last five contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 13-10 record  this season.
As of now, neither Gibbs nor Halls have any future games scheduled.
