Basketball Recap: Whitman Takes a Loss

Whitman was the 52-35 winner over Churchill when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Whitman Vikings fell to the Churchill Bulldogs 47-43.

Whitman's loss dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Churchill, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 15-2.

Looking ahead, Whitman will face off against Walter Johnson at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Walter Johnson's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five matches. As for Churchill, they will square off against Bethesda-Chevy Chase on February 14th.
