Basketball Recap: Parkway Center City Takes a Loss

If Parkway Center City was riding high fresh off their 69-26 takedown of Vaux Big Picture last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Parkway Center City Bulldogs fell just short of the Strawberry Mansion Knights by a score of 52-50 on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Knights: they've now lost three in a row.

Strawberry Mansion's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Shamar Davis led the charge by putting up 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jhameil Kelly, who posted 13 points.

Parkway Center City's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Strawberry Mansion, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-5.

Parkway Center City will take on Vaux Big Picture at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. Parkway Center City is facing Vaux Big Picture at the right time seeing as Vaux Big Picture is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Strawberry Mansion, they will challenge High School of the Future at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. High School of the Future is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 62.6 points per game this season.
