The R-S Central Hilltoppers will hit the road for the first time this season to face off against the South Caldwell Spartans at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

The win was a breath of fresh air for the Spartans as it put an end to their seven-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Landon Borders went supernova for South Caldwell, rushing for 86 yards and two touchdowns.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to South Caldwell's defense and their three sacks. In that department, Bryce Johnston was the leader with two.

R-S Central was taken down by South Caldwell 50-16 in their previous meeting back in August of 2023.
