St. Francis skates past Tenor with ease

Recap: St. Francis Mariners vs. Tenor

Make it four blowout wins for the St. Francis Mariners this season. They took their contest at home on Thursday with ease, bagging a 82-49 win over Tenor. That looming 82-49 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for St. Francis yet this season.

St. Francis found their leader in underclassman Josh Green, who scored 20 points along with seven rebounds and six steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaron Johnson, who scored 20 points along with seven rebounds.

Despite the loss, Tenor saw an underclassman step up: Quintyn Robinson scored 26 points. Robinson hasn't dropped below 15points for four straight games. Kyrell Davis was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.

St. Francis has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for Tenor, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-4.

St. Francis will be playing in front of their home fans against Shoreland Lutheran at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Tenor's road trip will continue as they head out to face University Lake at 1:30 p.m. on January 13th.
