Basketball Recap: Maranatha Baptist Academy Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Maranatha Baptist Academy can bid farewell to their eight-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They managed a 33-27 victory over the Omaha Eagles. The win was all the more spectacular given the Warriors' disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 430th in Missouri, while the Eagles are ranked 203rd in Arkansas).

Maranatha Baptist Academy's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-10. As for Omaha, they now have a losing record at 7-8.

Maranatha Baptist Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Omaha, they will square off against Mount Judea at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
