Snow Canyon is a perfect 10-0 against Cedar since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Warriors are taking a road trip to take on the Reds at 4:00 p.m. Snow Canyon will be strutting in after a victory while Cedar will be coming in after a loss.

Snow Canyon had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the four-goal drubbing they dealt Hurricane on Wednesday. The Warriors blew past the Tigers 4-0. Reggie Mackay was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

Kevin Lopez, who's played more minutes than anyone else on the Snow Canyon squad sat out for Wednesday's contest. With Lopez sidelined, Snow Canyon had to make some changes to the lineup. Terek Scholes played for 80 minutes having averaged 43.3 this season and Mackay got 80 vs. an average of 58.8. Mackay made the most of the opportunity, scoring three goals A few more games like that and he might be seeing even more time going forward.

Meanwhile, after soaring to five goals the game before, Cedar was a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They fell just short of Desert Hills by a score of 2-1. The matchup was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Cedar couldn't quite close it out.

Snow Canyon is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 22 goals over those eight games. As for Cedar, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-10.

Snow Canyon beat Cedar by a goal in their previous matchup back in April, winning 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
