Baseball Recap: Conant Makes It Five in a Row at Home

Conant proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by nine) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Monadnock Huskies, sneaking past 3-1. The win continues a trend for the Orioles in their matchups with the Huskies: they've now won four in a row.

Conant pushed their record up to 16-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 10 runs. As for Monadnock, their loss ended a 12-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 14-4.

Coming up, Conant will host Derryfield at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Monadnock does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
