Softball Recap: Guilford Comes Up Short

Guilford played against Rockford East on Monday and lost via forfeit.

Guilford's loss was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 8-19. As for Rockford East, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-12.

Looking ahead, Guilford will square off against Boylan Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Vikings are facing the Titans at the right time seeing as the Titans are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Rockford East, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Belvidere North at 5:00 p.m.
