Horse Creek Academy came tearing into Friday's matchup with nine straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They never let the Ridge Spring-Monetta Trojans get on the board and left with a 13-0 win. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 6-1 win on Tuesday.

Adrien Beak was a major factor no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out six over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up a single earned run in six consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.

In other batting news, Allie Stuart was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Halle Puckett, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Horse Creek Academy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 4.4 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 games they've averaged 9.4.

Horse Creek Academy's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-5.
