Damonte Ranch's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Galena, they suffered their first road loss, dropping their record down to 3-3.

Damonte Ranch couldn't quite finish off Galena when the teams last played back in November of 2024 and fell 16-13. Thankfully for the Mustangs, Colson Kermode (who rushed for 144 yards and one TD while picking up 8.5 yards per carry, and also threw for 132 yards and one touchdown) won't be suiting up this time.
