Volleyball Recap: East Paulding Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

East Paulding and Sequoyah squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but East Paulding had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Chiefs. Considering the last time the Raiders couldn't score was back in September, the team can't take the result too hard.

When it comes to explaining why East Paulding lost, don't look at Kaidyn Hokanson. Despite the final result, she had 11 digs and four assists. Hokanson is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last four games she's played.

With the defeat, East Paulding broke their 11-match winning streak and moved their record to 31-6. As for Sequoyah, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 22-5.

East Paulding does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sequoyah, they will host Seckinger at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
