Basketball Game Preview: Harpursville Hornets vs. Unadilla Valley Storm

Harpursville is 1-7 against Unadilla Valley since January of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Harpursville Hornets will take on the Unadilla Valley Storm at 7:15 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Harpursville is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They came up short against Deposit-Hancock on Monday, falling 96-74. The Hornets just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 82-36, which was the final score in Unadilla Valley's tilt against Oxford Academy last Tuesday. The Storm have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Harpursville's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Unadilla Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Harpursville came up short against Unadilla Valley in their previous meeting back in December of 2022, falling 58-51. Can Harpursville avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
