Wareham is a perfect 5-0 against Mashpee since September of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Vikings are taking a road trip to square off against the Falcons at 5:30 p.m. Wareham will be strutting in after a victory while Mashpee will be coming in after a loss.

Mashpee will be up against a hot Wareham team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. The Vikings came out on top against Bristol County Agricultural by a score of 3-1 on Wednesday.

Wareham walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-20, 17-25, 25-22.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Mashpee's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Carver.

The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-27, 25-16, 24-13.

Mashpee's defeat dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Wareham, their victory bumped their record up to 13-6.

Wareham took their win against Mashpee in their previous meeting back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vikings since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
