Football Game Preview: Cambridge Bears vs. Blessed Trinity Titans + How To Watch

The Cambridge Bears will square off against the Blessed Trinity Titans at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Cambridge is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Kell just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Friday. They were dealt a 45-18 loss at the hands of the Longhorns. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Bears have suffered since November 29, 2024.

Brooks Malone put forth a good effort for the losing side as he rushed for 62 yards and a pair of TDs.

Meanwhile, while Blessed Trinity put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Centennial. The Titans simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Knights 48-0. The Titans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by 28 points or more this season.

Blessed Trinity's win came from a few key players Cambridge will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Ty Page, who threw for 173 yards and four touchdowns on only 16 passes. Those four passing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. Ahmontae Pitts helped Page out on the ground, rushing for 67 yards and a pair of scores, while also picking up 31 receiving yards.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Blessed Trinity proved: they limited Centennial to a paltry 1.1 yards per carry. The Titans didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 7.3.

Blessed Trinity has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 8.8 points on average over those games. As for Cambridge, their loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 7-2.
