Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cathedral). Their defense stepped up to hand the St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy Warriors a 7-0 shutout on Monday. Considering the Phantoms have won eight contests by more than two goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Christopher Guzman led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Cathedral is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 28 goals over those six games. As for St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-9-3.
